This can be especially true with Putting as sometimes we have too much thinking time. The key is to deliver the Putter Face to the ball to create an efficient 'Ball Strike' that will encourage the ball to roll along it's axis point that will help it to stay on the chosen Putting Line, it will also help to control Ball Speed as it travels across the Green so 'Playing Games within Practice' is a great way of developing this skill.
