Address & Posture
5 FREE Fundamental Lessons to get you started!
Every golf shot has an 'Address & Posture', which is the starting position created before a Swing Motion takes place AND every shot also has two forms of 'Balance', namely Static Balance and Balance in Motion. 'Static (Still) Balance' is within the Address & Posture that creates a stable and vertical foundation of angles & lines for a 'Balanced Swing Motion' to perform from. With this in mind Golfing Partner's coaching philosophy is very similar to building a house "It can't be built from the roof down it's built from the ground up!"
There are 'Six' balance points within 'Static Balance' and the same 'Six' balance points are within 'Balance in Motion' and these must be in place to suit the Shot, the Club being used and the Lie being played from therefore understanding Balance in the shot is a key fundamental required to achieve shot success. Any loss of Balance will cause 'Manipulation' in the Hand & Arm Swing to occur that will typically cause 'Grip Pressure' to increase as the Hands try to realign Balance, so the question I am asking is:
"How do you practice your Address & Posture Position and the Balance within it?"
All instruction inside Golfing Partner starts with these essential and fundamental positions before progressing to any type of Swing Motion or Club-Face delivery to the Ball because if it's wrong within the Address & Posture Position (Foundation) I'll guarantee it will be wrong at the Club-Face! Take time to work through this Address & Posture Lesson Series to understand 5 key and fundamental positions that are in every golf shot. Please Note - The Address & Posture does change when using different clubs, playing from different lies or playing different types of shot. The appropriate Address & Posture Positioning has been covered within each one of the OnLine Lesson Categories but for ease of instruction I'm using a basic 7 iron position throughout this Lesson Series.
