Body Movements in the Golf Swing.

Within my 'Body Movement Lessons' I am going to talk about the importance of rotating your Stomach, Chest, Shoulders and Hips round 'Angles & Lines' that have been created in your 'Address & Posture Position'. I am also going to talk about the natural level of FEEL, CONTROL & CONSISTENCY' that can be created in your 'Golf Swing' if you encourage your Body to rotate in the right direction to create space around your Body for your Hand & Arm Swing to move in to!

With my Body Movements Instruction I am going to describe how to effectively rotate your Core Body Movements through your Backswing, Downswing, Hitting Area and Follow-Through Swing by using co-ordinated and balanced 'Movements' that rotate round Angles & Lines in your Posture Positioning to create space around your Body for your Hand & Arm Swing to move freely in too that will instantly improve your Golf Swing.

A POINT TO REMEMBER!

Your 'Hand & Arm Swing' will always be under strain and moving on an un-natural 'Swing Plane' and 'Swing Path' if your Body Movements are not rotating correctly!

With my 'Body Movement Instruction' I am going to talk about the importance of creating a foundation of 'Angles & Lines' in your 'Address & Posture Position' for your 'Core Body Movements and 'Hand & Arm Swing' to rotate round. For ease of instruction I have divided my instruction in to 5 simple lessons;

1. Angles & Lines in your 'Address & Posture'.

2. Body movements through your 'Backswing'.

3. Body movements through your 'Downswing'.

4. Body Movements through your 'Hitting Area'.

5. Body Movements through your 'Follow-Through Swing'.

Please remember - Your Body Movements should create space around your Body for your Hand & Arm Swing to move freely into!

Your 'Posture Position' needs to create a foundation of 'Angles & Lines' for your 'Body Movement' & 'Hand & Arm Swing to roate around. In this lesson I will talk about the importance of creating and checking your 'Spine Angle' and 'Body Line' within your Posture Positioning.

Controlling your Spine Angle is critical component to your Golf Swing as it needs to perform like an axle in a wheel. If the axle remains in a central position then the wheel will rotate efficiently but if the axle moves away from its central position the wheel becomes buckled and basically your Golf Swing works in the same way as a wheel.

Your 'Golf Swing' starts when your Hands & Arms take the Clubhead away from the Ball to start the movements into your 'Backswing'. Your Body Movements should start when your Clubhead has travelled through approximately 2 to 3 feet away from the Ball with your 'Core Body Movements' (Stomach, Chest & Shoulders) starting to rotate around your Spine Angle.

Within this lesson I will explain how this movement starts and how it benefits to your 'Golf Swing' by creating space for your Hand & Arm Swing to move freely into.

At the top of your 'Backswing' your Golf Swing will be in a state of transition to be able change direction and return back, in a downward direction into your 'Downswing' to maintain space round your Body for your Hand & Arm Swing to move freely into.

Within this lesson I am going to talk about how your 'Body Movements' should work in your Downswing, what 'Feelings' you should create and the use of 'Key Thoughts' to help trigger a controlled movement. I am also going to talk about the importance of maintaining flex in both knees that will encourage a relaxed and free flowing 'Core Body Rotation' back around your Spine Angle.

The 'Hitting Area' is by far the most important section of your 'Golf Swing'. This is because the Clubhead needs to be set in a square position in relation to your 'Swing Plane' and 'Swing Path' when impacting the ball. Put simply if your Clubhead is in a square position in relation to your 'Swing Plane' and 'Swing Path' throughout your 'Hitting Area' it will ensure consistency and accuracy with your ball striking and instantly improve your scoring!!

Your 'Follow-Through Swing' is a free flowing movement, which completes your Golf Swing. It starts after you have struck the ball with your Clubhead and Hand & Arm Swing exitting the 'Hitting Area'. The combined momentum of your 'Body Movements' and 'Hand & Arm Swing' (Golf Swing) moving from the top of your Backswing into your Downswing to impacting the Golf Ball will continue on into your Follow-Through Swing.
